From Savile Row to Soho: Meet our Member, David Newell

Sartorial designer and entrepreneur David Newell (Newell Bespoke) is one of MeWe’s newest incubator members. Adding more than just touch of style to our Soho Square venue, we’ve enjoyed getting to know David and his clients better over the past month so we thought we’d give you the chance to do the same.

“My values are all based around quality and comfort. I won’t compromise either for fashion.”

Born and bred in Birmingham, David’s ambitions and creative instincts were shaped by his father, always a picture of sartorial elegance, who came to England from Jamaica in the 1950s. After his first visit to Soho in the 80s, David was totally hooked. He moved to London and learnt from the best, honing his skills, expertise and exacting standards working on London’s world famous Savile Row for almost a decade. This traditional grounding, combined with his vision and artistry (David trained at Central St Martins) leads to each Newell Bespoke piece being considered as more than just a piece of clothing but slot gacor as ‘practical art and sculpture’.

David Newell’s mantra is “Does your suit speak for you?” and his mission is to ensure the answer is always a resounding “Yes”.

Newell Bespoke clients have included Hollywood stars Jamie Foxx and Adam Garcia, Callum Best, Kayvan Novak (aka Fonejacker) and Nick Hewer (The Apprentice, Countdown) and it’s not hard to see why. Tailoring, sartorial consultations and bespoke eyewear are all part of the Newell Bespoke offering and with services like that, you too can look as sharp as David.

MeWe is looking forward to supporting David on the next step of his entrepreneurial journey as he builds on the reputation and success which he has already so deservedly achieved. You can find out more about Newell Bespoke here.
