More about their enterprise:
CALACA Press is a publishing studio based in London that develops interdisciplinary projects led by Latin American creatives. The studio produces books, magazines, moving image works and public programmes that engage communities in meaningful dialogue around culture, identity and territory.
Founded by Pedro Resendez, CALACA Press was established to amplify the voices of the Latin American diaspora in the UK. Through its publications, moving image works and public initiatives, the studio challenges misrepresentation and creates spaces for open discussion about identity, cultural heritage and social context.
By combining creative expression with community engagement, CALACA Press highlights the richness and diversity of Latin American perspectives. The studio fosters understanding, connection and visibility for underrepresented voices, ensuring that their stories are seen, heard and celebrated within the wider cultural landscape.
